Conall MacCoille has been appointed chief economist of Bank of Ireland

Conall MacCoille has been appointed to the role of group chief economist at Bank of Ireland.

As group chief economist, MacCoille will lead the Group Economic Research Unit and will be the primary voice of the group on topics relating to economic opinion, forecasting and analysis, according to a statement from Bank of Ireland.

He will work closely with all parts of the group in relation to economic forecasting and market trend analysis.
