Coinbase reported turnover of €91m at Irish operation in 2022

Crypto asset exchange has since selected Dublin as its main regulatory and operational hub for the EU

Coinbase, the crypto asset exchange, saw revenues at its Irish operation jump by more than 40 per cent in 2022, newly filed accounts show.

The company, which has three registered entities in Ireland, reported turnover of €91.5 million last year at its main trading arm – up from €64.5 million in 2021.

Coinbase employed 205 people at its Irish arm, which provides e-money and fiat wallet support to its EU customers, in the period.
