Climate action not a ‘priority’ for most Sinn Féin voters, MEP candidate Lynn Boylan says

Boylan said the party had a strong track record on climate issues, but added that priorities in working class communities were very different to those in ‘leafy suburbs’

Climate action is not the priority for most Sinn Féin’s voters, according to senator Lynn Boylan, the party’s spokesperson on climate justice and a candidate in the upcoming European elections.

Boylan said that people who were struggling to find housing had different priorities to those in “leafy suburbs” who could avail of government grants for electric vehicles.
