The €1.7 billion National Children’s Hospital has been targeted by arson attacks on 29 occasions, new correspondence shows.

Dave Gunning, chief officer of the hospital’s development board, made the disclosure in a letter to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) last month.

He said the most recent of the attacks, which received significant media attention last year, took place in February this year.
