Central Bank warns of risks from Britain’s economic turmoil

Britain’s recent economic difficulties raise a number of risks for Ireland in the coming months, the Central Bank has warned.

The bank’s financial stability report, which was published last week, said that while the importance of trade with Britain has been offset in recent years by the growth of foreign direct investment, the current turmoil could cause difficulty for important sectors here.
