Center Parcs back in black with sales of €57m as Covid shadow recedes

Holiday village operator posted profit of €7.4m and forecasted that demand would rise higher than pre-pandemic levels

The company recently got permission for a major expansion of its existing holiday village in Ballymahon, Co Longford.

Sales increased fivefold last year at the group behind Center Parcs, the holiday village operator, with the end of Covid restrictions heralding a return to profit for the company.

Newly filed accounts show Center Parcs reported revenues of €57.8 million in its most recent financial period, up from €10.8 million in the previous year.
