C&C expects profit to be ‘in line with expectations’ amid ‘challenging’ conditions

C&C Group, owners of the Tennent’s, Five Lamps and Bulmers Ireland brands, has said it expects its full year underlying operating profit for 2024 to be “in line with current market expectations.”

Trading over the key Christmas period was “resilient” despite some adverse weather in Britain, the company said in a trading update.

As well as a number of drinks brands, the company also owns drinks distributor Matthew Clark and wine specialist Bibendum Wine.
