Sarah McInerney has become the latest major figure in RTÉ to rule herself out of the running to take over the Late Late Show, after Claire Byrne yesterday said she did not want the job at the Friday-night programme.
In a statement on Friday morning, McInerney confirmed she had told management at the broadcaster that she was not interested in presenting the show.
