Cairn given green light for further 565 homes on Seven Mills project

Almost 2,000 of 5,500 units on the Dublin 22 project have now received planning approval

Construction of the first phase at Seven Mills began in January 2023 - while the new town’s first residents moved in last month

Cairn Homes has received planning permission for 565 homes, apartments and duplexes at its Seven Mills project in Dublin 22, bringing the total number of residential units that have been granted planning permission to almost 2,000.

It comes after An Bord Pleanála greenlit the construction of 603 apartments, six retail units, a creche and an office building for the development in November.

Cairn intends to deliver 5,500 residential units as part of the project.

Construction of the first phase at Seven Mills began in January. 130 homes were delivered this year, with the new town’s first residents moving in last month.
