Bruton gives €4m to curb carbon emissions

Minister for Climate Action Richard Bruton is giving grants of up to €650,000 for businesses who can come up with ways of reducing Ireland’s carbon emissions.

The state is currently 95 per cent off course on its 2020 targets to reduce emissions and is facing the prospect of EU fines.
