British regulator seeks public input on Microsoft-Activision deal

The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Britain’s competition regulator, is seeking public input on whether Microsoft’s proposed $69 billion (€62.6 billion) purchase of Activision-Blizzard, the video gaming giant, should be allowed to proceed.

The CMA had previously blocked the deal in April but clearances from elsewhere along with commitments made by the IT giant saw Microsoft seek a change to the decision earlier this month. A final decision will be made by the CMA on ...
