Trade feels Brexit blow as exports to UK drop 22% in April

Exports from Ireland to Great Britain fell by 22 per cent to €1.2 billion in April this year compared to the same period in 2022, data published by the Central Statistics Office today shows.

Imports from Great Britain fell by 9 per cent to €1.9 billion when compared to April last year, suggesting the continuing impact of Brexit on trade.
