Bon Secours Hospital Galway will construct two new theatres as part of a €36.5 million investment in its services, it has been announced.

The hospital is to submit a planning application to Galway City Council to construct the two new theatres, extending the endoscopy suite to include a fourth endoscopy treatment room, sixteen endoscopy bays, four theatre recovery bays and fourteen surgical day ward bays, according to a statement from the group.
