Blackwater Distillery is looking to raise €400,000 on the Seedrs crowdfunding platform to increase its production.

The Waterford-based distillery, which produces gin, vodka and traditional pot still Irish whiskey plans to release its first whiskey in the coming months.

Making whiskey is very cash intensive, Peter Mulryan, chief executive of Blackwater Distillery, told the Business Post, and the company, which is just over three years old, needs to increase its output.
