Former AIB chief executive will depart from the role next year with search for a successor to begin ‘immediately’

Bernard Byrne will step down as chief executive of Davy next year, the company has announced.

Byrne, formerly the chief executive of AIB, will depart from his position during 2024, less than two years after taking on the leadership of the firm on a permanent basis.
