Belfast’s iconic Europa Hotel completes €17.5 million renovation

Renovations saw updates to all 272 guest bedrooms, as well as the hotel’s bar and restaurant

Hastings Hotels, the largest independent hotel operator in Northern Ireland, has completed its €17.5 million investment in the renovation of the Europa Hotel.

The iconic Belfast city-centre hotel was refurbished over the course of five years, with upgrades to all 272 guest bedrooms, as well as the hotel’s bar, restaurant, meeting rooms and private function space.

Hastings Hotels, the co-owner of the Merrion Hotel in Dublin, operate three other hotels in Belfast, including the five-star Culloden Estate and Spa, the four-star Stormont hotel and the city's largest five-star hotel, the Grand Central.
