Bar of Ireland: Family Courts Bill creates ‘two-tier’ justice system
The body said the proposed bill would lead to the reassignment of several issues to an already overworked district court
The Bar of Ireland, the professional association of barristers for Ireland, has said the draft Family Courts Bill will create a “two-tier” justice system.
The bill, which is currently before the Houses of the Oireachtas, aims to create a more efficient and user-friendly family courts system.
