An attempt to have a case taken by a developer against two Meath residents struck out has been unsuccessful, the High Court has heard.

Mr Justice Richard Humphreys said the action taken by Glenveagh Homes against Pat Lynch and Denise Leavy will proceed to a trial.

Glenveagh has accused Lynch and Leavy of abusing the planning process by lodging appeals to “barter” in an attempt to get a higher price for the sale of lands.
