Almac, the Northern Ireland-based pharmaceutical firm, will benefit from several million pounds of UK government funding announced as part of this week's budget.

The company, which last year committed £80 million to expand its facilities in Craigavon, will receive a share of a package of funding aimed at boosting the UK's life sciences and manufacturing sectors.
