American healthcare group UPMC completes acquisition of Sports Surgery Clinic
The clinic was founded by Ray Moran in 2007 and has grown to a 101-bed facility
American healthcare group UPMC has completed the acquisition of the Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin following approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
The Sports Surgery Clinic (SSC) is UPMC’s fourth hospital in Ireland, joining UPMC Whitfield in Waterford, UPMC Kildare in Clane and UPMC Aut Even in Kilkenny, along with sports medicine, cancer and outreach facilities across Ireland, according to a statement from UPMC.
