Aldo, the shoe store, has confirmed the closure of its shop in Dundrum Town Centre due to “underperformance” of the retail unit.

The move has impacted nine employees who work at the outlet, which opened at the Centre in May of last year.

“The Aldo Group can confirm that the franchise operator in ROI [the Republic of Ireland] has made the difficult decision to permanently close the Dublin Dundrum store on Saturday, April 1, due to underperformance,” the company said in a statement to the Business Post.
