Cathy Bryce, managing director of AIB’s capital markets division, has been named the first female president of the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) – the industry group that represents firms across the financial services sector.

Bryce, who succeeds Jim O'Keeffe, AIB’s managing director of retail banking, said she was “honoured” to take on the role at a “time of great change” across the banking sector.
