Accountants need ‘stronger voice’ to face new regulations and challenges of AI, industry leader says

Accountants in Ireland need a “stronger voice” to fight their corner in the face of onerous new financial regulations and the challenges posed by artificial intelligence, the head of a representative group has said.

Last week, the leadership of CPA Ireland and Chartered Accountants Ireland put a proposal to their members that would establish a single institute under the latter’s brand.
