30 jobs for Dundalk as Zurich-based multinational ABB opens research centre

The pulp and paper giant said its new Irish facility will be key to the company’s digital evolution

ABB officially opened its new research and development (R&D) centre in Dundalk, Co. Louth, on Monday.

The facility will be focused on the pulp and paper industry and will create up to 30 jobs.

The centre will be used to pilot and develop new ideas and products into applications for the papermaking sector.
