Sixteen current and former RTÉ executives have been asked to appear before the Dáil’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Thursday to answer questions surrounding the ongoing payments scandal at the national broadcaster.
TDs are set to grill RTÉ chiefs over commercial arrangements at the broadcaster, payments to its top presenters from 2017 onwards, and how these payments are accounted for in RTÉ’s financial statements.
