What you need to remember when you are made redundant
Being let go is one of the most stressful life events, but you must remember it is only temporary
Over the past months there have a been a notable amount of Irish employees made redundant and having received redundancy options from their employers.
The list of companies, which have predominantly been Tech-led include, but are not limited to, Google, Meta, Salesforce, Amazon, eBay, Microsoft, Paypal, Three, and also the big banks such as Ulster Bank, AIB, and Citigroup.
In 2023, the Department of Enterprise received 156 collective redundancy notifications up to end-October.
