The line between car makers and tech firms is more blurred than ever, and nowhere is this more apparent than at the Chinese maker BYD
BYD’s marketing tagline describes the Chinese maker as “the biggest car brand you’ve never heard of”. But Ciaran Allen, sales director for passenger cars at Motor Distributors Limited (MDL), which distributes BYD in Ireland, is optimistic that the phrase will soon become redundant as the brand quickly expands its presence in Ireland.
