State mulls how to deliver a renewed GPO and O’Connell Street worthy of their status

Like much of the rest of Dublin’s O’Connell Street, the GPO needs a little more than a facelift.

“Parts of it are falling apart, the offices are falling apart,” David McRedmond, chief executive of An Post, told the Business Post last week.
