Second Life Battery Services (SLBS) is aiming to transform how we see batteries by reusing their cells to power our buildings, cars and home appliances.

“Imagine a world where once you bought a car, drove it and were then finished with it, you had to destroy it – you weren’t allowed to sell it,” said Shirley Gallagher, the firm’s chief operating officer. “That’s the paradigm we're trying to flip with batteries.”
