British Leave voters will put Brexit before keeping the North within the UK. The DUP will have to suck it up

There is a way for the backstop provisions of the British withdrawal agreement to cease to have any relevance; that is for Britain to enter into an agreement on the future relationship between Britain and the EU that would render the backstop unnecessary and irrelevant.
