Over 60 per cent of Irish people expect Britain to stay in the EU, a new survey has revealed.

The poll, carried out by iReach Insights, also found that 84 per cent would prefer Britain to Remain – only 16 per cent of respondents would prefer the country to leave.

The study was based on a survey of 1,000 adults in Ireland over what they think will be the outcome of the ballot.
