As Asterion takes a 80% stake in NBI, what exactly does it mean for the rural broadband plan?

David McCourt has always been keen to stress that his involvement with the National Broadband Plan is a long-term commitment.

“If my estate inherited these shares, I’d be fine with that. I’d be fine to hold them for the duration [of the contract],” he told the Business Post last week.
