For centuries, the islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG)have attracted explorers, sailors, settlers and, more recently, celebrities. This chain of 32 islands – situated to the west of Barbados and part of the Windward group of islands - stretches south for 50 miles from St Vincent to Grenada.

Nine of its islands are inhabited: St Vincent, Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Petit Saint Vincent, Palm Island, Union Island and Mayreau.
