With a new show on Today FM and a successful career in stand-up, funnyman Neil Delamere should have lots to talk about. But he turns out to be a surprisingly reticent jester. Interview: Nadine O’Regan
If Neil Delamere hadn’t become a comedian, he could have been a doctor. He got an almost perfect score in his Leaving Cert, earning around 580 points out of a possible 600. The Offaly-born comedian racked up the points even though he didn’t need them – not even remotely – for his subsequent degree in computer applications at DCU.
