Volodymyr Zelensky’s only visit to Ireland was a fairly low-key affair. In 2017, the actor and comedian headlined a one-off musical show for Drogheda’s Eastern European community at the TLT Theatre. Afterwards, he visited tourist locations such as the Cliffs of Moher, called this country “a magical place” and expressed his wish to return here one day.
