Vincent Van Gogh vandals, Just Stop Oil and tyre slashers – meet the eco activists kicking up a storm

Meet the environmental activists using theatrics and extreme tactics to spread their message about climate change

In October of last year, two young women walked calmly into the National Gallery in London with cans of tomato soup, super glue, and Just Stop Oil t-shirts concealed under their jackets.

Onlookers gasped and cried out for security as Phoebe Plummer and Anna Holland threw soup on the glass exterior of Van Gough’s iconic Sunflowers painting, before gluing their hands to the wall and turning to deliver their message.
