We opened an excellent production (I’m biased, remember) of Country Music by world-renowned playwright Simon Stephens this week at my theatre company Glass Mask and the thing is rock and roll. The Arts Review and the Independent gave it five stars. So did my daughter. It’s a play about working class Dublin, the inadequacies of the prison system and mistakes versus fate.
