Tell us about your background before becoming a florist?

I always had a keen interest in horticulture. Before I started my own business I worked for Malahide Nurseries while moonlighting as a gardening and horticulture contributor on Morning Ireland and on the then-TV3. I kept studying, too, furthering my knowledge in floristry and landscape design.

What was your earliest ambition?

From as far back as I can remember I was messing around with colouring pencils ...
