Mick O’Dea lives in Portnacloy, North Mayo. A past president of the Royal Hibernian Academy, his current activities include that of chair of the Stamp Design Advisory Committee for An Post. His work is widely featured in public and private collection in Europe, the US and Asia.

What was your earliest ambition? To do something special.
