Ask any Irish person if they know Rodrigo y Gabriela, and they’ll respond with fond recognition, as if they’re acquainted with them personally. In these parts, perhaps the best-known thing about the virtuoso Mexican guitar duo is not their Grammy win, or the fact that they’ve played for Barack Obama, or sold well over 1.5 million records, but that they got their start busking on Grafton Street.
“We came to Ireland, to Dublin . . ...
