Nick Kelly and Sean Millar: ‘You don’t have to be a saint, you just need to engage'

The two Irish rock veterans are set to embark on Song Cycle, a tour with a sustainable difference which involves bike journeys to every venue

For their Song Cycle to Glastonbury, Nick Kelly will cycle from Dublin to Rosslare, while Sean Millar takes the train. Nick Kelly and Sean Millar are men of a certain age. They have been through the usual creative industry malarkey of having to almost beg for financing on their respective projects. If there’s one thing they don’t have to worry about, however, it is ageing disgracefully.

Kelly was once the lead singer of 1990s rock outfit The Fat Lady Sings. He jumped ship to pursue a solo music career that has run parallel with filmmaking. ...
