It could be said that it has taken Rolls-Royce 123 years to bring its first electric car to market. One of the luxury brand’s founders, Charles Stewart Rolls, is quoted as saying that “the electric car is perfectly noiseless and clean. There is no smell or vibration. They should become very useful when fixed charging stations can be arranged.”
