It’s take two for BMW’s X2

The new model gains a more clearly defined coupe shape, as well as a pair of zero-emission options

There are four models in all, two under the X2 banner that are powered by petrol, and then, for the first time ever in the X2 family, a couple of electric options that get the subtly altered iX2 nameplate

BMW has long had a policy where the even-number model line-ups in its portfolio are the coupe versions of associated odd-number ranges. The X2 is therefore designed to fit into the alphanumeric gap between the BMW X1 and X3, but the first generation didn’t exactly look very coupe-like.
