Few careers have been as distinguished – or as diverse – as that of Tony Bartley. Twice awarded for gallantry as a Spitfire fighter ace in World War II, he also performed the aerobatics for the film The First of the Few, which chronicled the life of the Spitfire's designer RJ Mitchell.
