The Friends of the Vocal Arts is a quietly effective and totally dedicated group of music lovers, which over the years has been the main fundraiser for Ireland’s flagship vocal contest. Without it, the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition could not have existed and Ireland’s classical music reputation around the globe would have been diminished.
