This new opera production has a lot going for it, not least its timing with the Paris Olympics all set to get up and running
For a post-Salome/ celebration Irish National Opera takes off around the country in a sort of festive bandwagon that continues its award-winning exploration of Vivaldi operas with what it calls ‘’a fast and furious’’ new production that will not halt in Ireland but carry on in mid-May to the Royal Opera House in London and then to Nouvel Opera Fribourg.
