When Covid-19 arrived, familiar words such as “zoom”, “cocoon” and “bubble” were quickly repurposed. Almost overnight, we had to make sense of a world in which relationships with friends and family were at best altered and at worst fractured. While our interactions changed shape entirely, connection became increasingly important; one of the many things the pandemic illustrated is how crucial interpersonal communications are for health and wellbeing.
