If you’ve managed to survive the Australian Outback in The Tourist and the mean streets of Liverpool in The Responder, here comes another BBC drama – this one made with Amazon Prime Video which is releasing it internationally. The six-part drama stars Erin Doherty as Becky Green, a social media-obsessed woman from Bristol who’s become consumed with the near-perfect lifestyle of influencer Chloe Fairbourne (Poppy Gilbert). Becky, by contrast, lives in a small flat and cares for her mother who has dementia. When Chloe dies suddenly, Becky assumes a new identity and infiltrates the dead woman’s circle of friends to find out what happened to her. EK
