XS targets high-premium drivers

Irish-owned insurance company XS Direct opened for business earlier this month with the launch of its specialist motor-insurance product, Excess. Aimed at the high-premium end of the Irish motor insurance market, the company claims Excess will provide a low-cost alternative to motorists who are paying premiums of €1,000 a year and over.
