A new OECD report examining the involvement of companies in the digital economy has again put Ireland's low corporation tax under the spotlight, writes Peter Vale.

Anybody who hoped that interest in the tax practices of multinational groups would quickly blow over has been sorely disappointed. It hasn't gone away and it isn't going to go away for some time, as last week's draft report from the OECD on taxing the digital economy reminded us.

For Ireland, this is significant given the importance of tax policy here in attracting foreign investment.
